An anti ageing injection is the procedure of administering injections of botulinum toxin type A (botox®) to treat lines and wrinkles of the face and otherwise known as wrinkle relaxant.

Botox® is the market leading brand name for botulinum toxin. The substance temporarily relaxes the muscles which results in the reduction of the appearance of lines and wrinkles.

Why we might recommend Botox®

​

Botox is better used to prevent lines from appearing, it may be harder to achieve the result you want if lines have been left over a long period of time. BOTOX is used for lines on expression, not lines at rest. Great results have been acheived with both and we recommend to persevere with a second session 3-4 months after your first session to build up a really good result.

When will I see the results?

​

Anti ageing injections offer positive results within just 5 to 7  days of treatment. The effects can continue to appear up to 2 weeks. Improvements from anti ageing injections last for up to 4 months. It is important to note that having Botox® will not stop your face from performing natural expressions. The effects of the treatment mean the appearance of lines and wrinkles are significantly decreased. Follow up appointment will be arranged for 2 weeks following your initial appointment to review the results and add anymore if needed.
